Twinaxial

Twinaxial

Available Colours:

Our equivalent to Belden twinaxial cable, also known within the industry as ‘twinax’, were originally used by IBM for the IBM3 and AS/400 computing systems. They are now used across many industries for high-speed differential signalling applications.

This range of twinaxial cables features a similar construction to coaxial cables – the difference is that they use two high-quality copper cores instead of just one. These cables are identical in construction and quality to the brand name alternatives but are offered at a more budget-friendly price.

Application

For use in applications that require short-ranged high-speed differential signalling, such as local area networks.

Construction

  • Conductors – 2 x 20 AWG tinned copper/bare copper conductors
  • Screening – overall foil & braided
  • Sheath material – LSZH
  • Colour – black or blue
