Generally used for Data Networking, Telecom and CCTV.
Available with (UTP) Unscreened Twisted Pairs and (FTP) Foil Twisted Pairs. (UTP) being the most common and with the use of Baluns RGB signals can be transmitted. (FTP) are used where proximity to RF equipment which may produce electromagnetic interference. It is also used as a security measure should eavesdropping be apparent.
Premium SFX-Cat5E
Performing frequencies up to 100MHZ. The cable consists of 4 pairs with a differing and precise number of twists per meter to reduce crosstalk between the pairs. Cat5E is not limited to just 4 pairs, Backbone applications can involve using Multi-Pair versions and from stock we can offer 8 pair (Dual). 12, 16 & 25 pair with colour codes bundled cores.
Cat5 is available in both solid and stranded forms, solid being the more cost effective and the most widely used.
